Mustang Week Charlotte 2026 Presented by Monster Energy and Roush Performance is packed with track days, drag racing, car shows, and burnout competitions, but one of the most unique and rewarding experiences of the entire week has nothing to do with speed or a show field. The Mustang Week Poker Run, Powered by Foxy Events, is a self-guided driving adventure through the Charlotte-Concord area that turns the entire region into your personal playground from Monday, August 24 through Thursday night, August 27 with over $14,000 in prizes.
What Is a Poker Run?
If you have never done a poker run before, here’s the idea. A poker run is part scavenger hunt, part card game, and entirely up to you. Participants visit a series of stops throughout the area, collecting a virtual playing card at each location. The goal is to build the best possible five card poker hand by the time the run closes. The better your hand, the better your odds of walking away with a prize.
The Mustang Week Poker Run runs entirely through the Aces Poker Run app, meaning there is no paper, no punch cards, and nothing to lose between your seats. Download the app, register for the event right from your phone, and you are ready to roll.
The Stops
This is where the Mustang Week Poker Run separates itself from anything else on the schedule. With 15 or more stops spread across Concord and the greater Charlotte area, the run is designed to showcase some of the most Mustang-relevant and genuinely interesting destinations the region has to offer.
Stops include the Mustang Owners Museum, RFK Racing, Team Penske, The RTR Lab, K1 Speed Concord, and Mac’s Speed Shop, where the automotive-themed BBQ hits just as hard as the car content. Southern Grace Distillery, housed inside an actual former prison, brings a one of a kind setting to the list, and K1 Speed gives participants a chance to scratch the competitive itch off the track with high-speed indoor electric kart racing. These are not filler stops. Every location on the list is worth the visit on its own.
At each stop, check in through the app and collect your card. Hit at least five stops to build a full hand, but do not stop there. The app automatically updates your hand to your best five cards as you go, so the more stops you visit, the stronger your odds.
The Prizes
The top 20 poker hands at the end of the run all win sponsor-donated prizes, and the prize list is genuinely stacked. Contributions from Vortech, LMR, Continental Tire, Monster Energy, RTR, Alpha Rex, JEGS, Harris Mustang Supply, 5 Star, HPL, Form, ProCar, and Mustang Week cover everything from apparel and swag all the way up to a $500 JEGS gift card and a full set of LMR SVE wheels.

The grand prize is a complete Vortech supercharger system valued at $9,500, which is about as serious a poker run prize as it gets.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday afternoon, August 28, in front of the Foxy Events tent on vendor row.
