Mustang Week Charlotte 2026 Presented by Monster Energy and Roush Performance runs August 24 – 29, with Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina serving as the beating heart of the action. But the energy doesn’t stay contained within those gates.

From brewery parking lots and off-site dyno days to city streets and community venues scattered across the greater Charlotte-Concord area, official and unofficial events keep the Mustang community moving all week long. Whether you are a first-timer or a longtime regular, this is your complete guide to everything happening in and around Mustang Week, because from the moment the Kick-Off Party fires up on Monday night to the final fireworks on Saturday, there is always something happening.

The Official Events: Where the Action Lives

The heart of Mustang Week Charlotte beats loudest at its two main venues, and the official schedule reflects just how much is packed into this week. It all starts Monday evening at Mac’s Speed Shop in Concord with the Kick-Off Party, presented by ModifyMyStang.com, setting the tone with food, music, and a sea of Mustangs to kick off the festivities. From there, the week builds steadily toward its biggest moments.

Tuesday brings a brand new event to the show with the Karting & Ice Cream Social presented by Hemmings at K1 Speed from 12PM – 4PM. Here, we’ll also host an All-Ford meet up, so if you’re vehicles came with a blue oval on it from the factory, it’s welcome here!

On Wednesday, the first-ever Mustang Week Games and All-Ford Meet-Up at The Horseshoe in Kannapolis Presented by Harris Mustang Supply brings a completely different energy to the week: tug of war, horseshoes, three-legged races, wheelbarrow racing, cornhole, eating contests, BBQ food trucks, live music, and vendors. It is a field day in every sense of the word, and one of the most genuinely fun and family-friendly days of the entire event.

Thursday at Charlotte Motor Speedway is Track Day, presented by Shelby American and operated by Wheelhouse Racing School. HPDE sessions are offered for novice, intermediate, and advanced drivers, and a Track Experience option gives attendees the chance to do parade laps on the Superspeedway and the ROVAL with pro ride-alongs available in Dark Horse Mustangs.

Friday brings the All-Ford Cruise-In at zMAX Dragway, presented by Roush Performance, where over 500 Fords fill the grounds alongside more than 50 vendors, roll racing, drag racing, True Street competition, drift exhibitions and ride-alongs, autocross, the Dyno Challenge, and Cobra Sam’s legendary street burnout competition.

Saturday is the crescendo: the Official Mustang Week Car Show, presented by Roush Performance, brings standout Mustangs from across the country together at zMAX for a full day of judging, competition, and community, capped off by the Awards Ceremony and Mustang Week Mayhem, which closes out the week with drifting, motorsports action, and a fireworks show over the dragway.

Woven throughout the entire week is the Mustang Week Poker Run, a multi-day adventure with cash prizes and giveaways that sends participants to stops all over the Concord area, rewarding those who hit all ten locations with the best odds of walking away a winner.

The Unofficial Scene: Community-Led and Never Short on Energy

What makes Mustang Week truly special is what happens outside the official schedule. The Mustang community shows up in full force with their own events, and the Charlotte-Concord area becomes one massive, rolling gathering throughout the entire event.

On Tuesday evening, Coyote Cartel teams up with Grove Cartel Brewing Co. for a standout car show showcasing the best builds in North Carolina. Also running during the day on Tuesday, if you’re a ‘25 or ‘26 model year Dark Horse owner, you can take on the Dark Horse Track Attack Owners Program at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Wednesday evening offers four great options: Kick off of the day with a Cars and Coffee cruise hosted by Rally Point Auto Detailing as they head to The Horseshoe in Kannapolis. After the Mustang Week Games and All-Ford Meet up conclude, the unofficial action continues in the evening with the Battle on the Blvd Meet-Up hosted by Southeastern Stangs at the Embassy Suites in Concord, complete with outdoor bars, food, and an on-site mobile dyno.

Also on Wednesday, Foxy After Dark brings the Ford community to Cabarrus Brewing Company for an evening of great cars, locally brewed beer, and elevated pub food.

Thursday kicks off even more unofficial fun, starting the day with Coffee & Camshafts hosted by Modified Muscle Marketplace at the Carolina Ale house from 8-11AM. After the Mustang Week Track Day, the night action kicks off with the RTR Vehicles Party at Cabarrus Brewing featuring appearances from Team RTR and Vaughn Gittin Jr. from 6-10PM, and the NC Stangs Stampede at Pro Dyno’s facility running simultaneously with a dyno shootout, music, and a complimentary cookout also from 6-10PM.

Friday morning, the Fox Body Cruise hosted by Foxy Events sends a Fox-only procession rolling into zMAX ahead of the All-Ford Cruise-In. For Dark Horse owners, a complimentary performance driving experience through the Dark Horse Track Attack Owners Program at the Wheelhouse Racing School at Charlotte Motor Speedway is available as an added benefit of ownership.

And when Saturday night winds down at the dragway, Mustangs With Attitudes hosts the After Party at Twin Peaks on Concord Mills Boulevard, for those who aren’t quite ready to let the action of Mustang Week come to a close.

The Mustang Owners Museum in Concord also offers extended hours and 20 percent off admission for adults throughout the week, with kids 12 and under free, making it an easy and worthwhile stop on any day of the event.

Outside of the events listed above, we’re no stranger to cruising the town and running into pop-up meets, whether previously organized or spontaneous, and that’s one of the best parts about the Mustang Week community. Just remember to be respectful of all property and be sure to leave no trace.
