The Gulf Coast heat was no match for the fire brought to Galveston, Texas, as Mustang Week Texas 2026 roared to life April 14–18 at the iconic Moody Gardens Resort.
Five days of tire smoke, thundering exhaust notes, and the unmistakable camaraderie of the Mustang community culminated in what many are already calling one of the finest editions of the event to date. From the track-day heroics at MSR Houston to the wheel-to-wheel intensity of the Drift Battle hosted by Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Ben Hobson, every corner of the event delivered the kind of moments that remind you why this hobby gets in your blood and never lets go.
But perhaps no moment carries more weight than the closing ceremonies of the Official Car Show — where the very best of the best step forward to claim their hardware.
