2026 Mustang Karting Cup

Karting General Information & Rules
Karting is available to anyone who purchases a Mustang Week Karting add-on. Participants will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and will receive two races.
Participants who would like to compete in the Mustang Week Karting Cup Buy-In Race may enter for an additional $20 onsite. The Karting Cup gives racers the opportunity to qualify for a final race against select top drivers and influencers from the Ford community.
How to Register
To participate, visit www.www.mustangweek.com and purchase a Mustang Week spectator or participant ticket. All-Access tickets include admission to all official Mustang Week events, but a Karting add-on is required to participate in karting.
Official Mustang Week registration packages, including credentials and event information, will be available for pickup at official Mustang Week events on Monday and Tuesday.
Tickets and Race Entries
Tickets, Karting add-ons, and race entries are available in advance at www.www.mustangweek.com. Advance purchase is recommended to save time at the event.
Karting Cup Buy-In Race entries will be available onsite for an additional $20, subject to availability.
Food and Beverage
Food trucks will be onsite, and K1 Speed will also have concessions available inside the facility with food and drinks for purchase.
Mustang Week Karting Cup Buy-In Race
Time: 3:30 PM
Entry Fee: $20 onsite
Prize: $500 cash prize and trophy for the winner
The Mustang Week Karting Cup will take place on the K1 Speed karting track. After qualifying sessions are complete, the top qualifying racers will advance to the final Karting Cup race.
Format and Schedule
1. Qualifying Rounds
Participants will be divided into heats of up to 10 racers per heat.
Each qualifying heat will be 5 minutes, approximately 8–10 laps. Each racer’s fastest lap time will be used to determine overall qualifying position.
The top 10 fastest racers from all qualifying heats combined will advance to the final Karting Cup race, where they will compete against four selected Pro Drivers/influencers.
2. Final Race
The final race will be a 12-lap, grid-start positional race.
Starting positions will be determined based on qualifying results. The first racer to complete 12 laps will be named the Mustang Week Karting Cup Champion.
The winner will receive a $500 cash prize and trophy. The top three finishers will receive trophies.
General Rules
- Participants must be at least 58 inches tall to race.
- All participants must sign the required K1 Speed waiver before racing.
- Racers must follow all K1 Speed safety rules and staff instructions at all times.
- Intentional contact, reckless driving, or unsafe behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.
- Mustang Week and K1 Speed staff reserve the right to make final decisions regarding penalties, disqualifications, and race procedures.
Qualifying Rules
- Each racer’s fastest lap time during qualifying will determine their ranking.
- The 10 racers with the fastest lap times overall, regardless of heat, will advance to the Karting Cup final.
- In the event of a tie, the racer’s next-fastest lap time will be used as the tiebreaker.
Final Race Rules
- The final race will be a 12-lap grid-start race.
- No intentional blocking, bumping, or aggressive driving is permitted.
- Unsafe or overly aggressive driving may result in penalties or disqualification.
- Starting grid order will be set after qualifying is complete.
- The first racer to complete 12 laps will win the Mustang Week Karting Cup.
