After 20 great years in Myrtle Beach, the Mustang Week staff has decided to return to our original roots and do one final event in Myrtle Beach at the Myrtle Beach Mall in July. Please be patient as we work out the details.
Mustang Week staff member, Mike Clay wanted to give you all a sneak peak of what to expect during the car show Friday from inside the convention center.
As we gear up for the 2021 event, we are excited, because it will be our 20th event in Myrtle Beach, SC. We have some exciting changes for the event.
Monday, we will be hosting our kickoff party at the Hardrock once again. The Tuesday Meet N Greet will be held in the Broadway at the Beach parking lot. Wednesday, we will be hosting an autocross & drift demos in the old Freestyle amusement park off 501. We are excited to see what we can do with so much room. From our years of going to the SEMA show, we are looking into something similar to the Ford Out Front setup. Thursday, we will be returning to Darlington for our Test N Tune drag event.
So many magazines have featured cars that came from Mustang Week and we are looking to celebrate that this year. If you have had your car featured in a magazine or advertisement while being at our event, we will have a special inside display for your car if you enter the show. The car show & Cruise-In will be held once again at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. If you are looking to stay on-site, please stay at the Sheraton. You can visit our hotel section on our site for all our supporting properties.
With no disrespect to other events, we’ll say that Mustang Week sets the bar. It’s the original Mustang destination event. More than a weekend drag race, more than a one day car show, and more than a weekend open-track event. It’s all those events and lasts a whole week.
Michael Johnson, the technical editor over at Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords put together a great write-up on the 2018 Mustang Week over on the MM&FF website. Jump over and give the article a read for an awesome summary of our 2018 event.
