Exclamation 2018 Car Show Entry Information For Pre-Registered Cars

The 2018 Mustang Week Car Show will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center (2101 N Oak St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579)
*Please read all information below pertaining to MBCC entry for pre-registered Car Show participants only. Following the instructions below will allow for the most safe and efficient parking of registered Car Show Cars. The logistics below will ensure the best experience for all involved.

    Pre-Registered Car Show Participants
First, if you don't make it into the judged show, you can still be present as a spectator and park across the street from the MBCC.

DETAILS FOR SHOW PARKING LOGISTICS ARE STILL BEING WORKED OUT FOR 2018! Below is how we handled it in 2017 and we may modify these instructions so check back before September!!!

For those pre-registered for the Car Show, you will be entering the MBCC show fields from Oak Street. PARKING BEGINGS AT 7:30am. We will not allow anyone onto the show field before that time and can't block Oak Street! The map below shows the preferred entry direction. You will need to be traveling SOUTH on Oak Street and as you approach the MBCC you will need to be in the right-hand (outside) lane. There will be NO left-hand turns into the MBCC when we are parking show cars. We suggest that the best route for Car Show participants would be to use Robert M Grissom Pkwy to 29th Ave east. This will allow you to make a right turn onto Oak Street and already be in the right-hand lane. As you approach the MBCC on Oak Street you will see Mustang Week Parking Volunteers that will be trying to make certain people are in the appropriate lanes. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR CAR SHOW PRE-REGISTRATION DOCUMENTATION READY WHEN YOU TURN INTO MBCC. Once your turn right into the MBCC you will split into 3-4 lanes. This will help keep traffic from backing up on Oak Street. (See Map Below). If you want to be parked near another participant you will need to both be in the same line once you turn into the MBCC. At this point you will follow the instructions of the Mustang Week Parking Volunteers. Please be very patient with the parking volunteers. We have a LOT of folks to park in a very short amount of time. Once your car is parked you will need to walk up to the Car Show registration tent to get checked in and get your goody bag, dash plaque, etc. If you don't go up to the tent and check in you may not get judged. This process is different from previous years, but location logistics dictate the change.
**It is important to mention that there WILL NOT be a place to park (prior to show field entry) for staging/prepping. Please work on this prior to arrival or once you are parked in the show field.

Those bringing cars on trailers: You will need to arrive early and you will be allowed to park your truck/trailer in the spectator parking area. After unloading we ask that you drive around and get in the show parking line vs. crossing directly across Oak St.
