Default A little work under the hood

I started a project that has been 3 years coming. I just never got the time to tackle it till this year.
A little motivator was that I ran over some long metal object coming back from Darlington last year and bent at least 2 wheels (with another one questionable) and cut one rear tire. Made it home fine after Mustang week but just now getting around to replacing everything. I had to eat the cost of a set of rims and tires due to my insurance only willing to cover it under collision. So I was motivated to swap out my cam covers and ported blower I had sitting around and sell my originals to come up with tire and rim money. Almost there. Wheels are on the way along with springs. As soon as I sell my blower, inlet and throttle body. I'll order my rear tires.

under hood shot from last weekend.

I've got most of it back together. Hopefully cop covers will be ready and polishing my ported throttle body to go back on.

I'll post up a pic when its done. Not much time left.

Pressure is a great motivator, good luck with the build.

Well three of the four wheels had issues. 2 with blemishes and one with a slight bend. So 3 more wheels on the UPS truck to deliver today. I was hoping to drive my car some this week to settle the new h&r race springs some. I did get to drive it briefly last Saturday. Running great so far. Getting wheels and tires mounted tomorrow and leaving for the beach Sunday morning. Talk about cutting it close.

Jeez, where did your wheels come from? That's a LOT of problems in a short span of time.

Late Model performance. Some of the blame was in UPS for damages though. They came through and sent one overnight. Good to go now.
