Fired it up last night! Passenger side valve cover was leaking bad, so I had to take care of that this morning. Everything seems GREAT! I'm givong it a good wash n wax right now, then gonna do some datalogging. I am so ecstatic right now! I worked my ass off to get the truck ready for Mustang Week! I am anxious to be leaving in 3 days!!!

Thanks!!! Don't expect too much visually from the truck lol... it's now a show truck, it's a GO truck

I'll have it out at the Meet & Greet, but I'm there for the Fun Runs/AutoX & Drag Night. I got a little ding on my pass side cab corner, and some jackass keyed my driver door a couple years ago. I haven't fixed it yet because the truck has been down for literally 2 years. But it looks good from 30 foot!! LOL

Trust me I understand. My L is my DD and it certainly shows the wear. Try to keep it as clean as possible, but hard to do when you drive it everywhere. I Will try to clean it up as much as I can. My is kinda of a go truck . It has a lot of bolt ons, and I am not really looking to do much more as I need the reliabilty. Plus it is still fun to whoop up on folks in a farm truck

I love your truck! I look forward to showing it to my fiance this year! She loves Lightnings, and comes from a Lightning family. Her dad has a 93 L with a built 410W stroker motor, her papaw has a silver 02 L just like mine (but with bolt-ons, longtubes, and a ported Eaton.... and oh yeah, it only has 6,400 miles on it!!), and her great uncle has a black 02 L that is bone stock. So I guess it's safe to say her family welcomed me with open arms LOL!!!! She has another great uncle that lives out of town that ALSO has a red 02 L with a pulley & tune. Her papaw & his 2 brothers all bought their Lightnings on the same day at the same dealer in Columbus.

Well so far so good! Everything still seems great! The startup tune from Rick @ Amazon seems great!

I'm sure the poor baby appreciated it's first wash & wax in OVER TWO YEARS!!!

Well the truck took a shit again about 30 minutes from the house on the way down. Took the fiance's G6 down. I swear my Lightning is cursed.
