This probably wouldn't help you but I would die to get a lightning motor in my car and cut the hood out for the blower. Its not the best of motors but the look and power is amazing IMO.

If you want to stick to a 2V, check out modular motors racing. I've heard some good things with very little bad things about them.

Buy a kenne bell kit and that alone will put you at 400+ rwhp at 10 or 11 pounds of boost

A lot of people say our motors are safe under 450 hp mostly depending on the tune. So IMO make sure you get a good dyno tune with anything over 400 to be safe.

If you want, I would suggest putting together a 4v motor instead of building the 2v. It makes more power with the same mods and would cost about the same unless your going to reuse your heads.

If you are going to build it from scratch, IDK much about internals but there are a lot of companies selling short and long blocks for fairly cheap. As I mentioned before, MMR has a short block rated to 1k horsepower on sale now for 2800 bucks. There are some more that are cheaper but not rated as high.

Also, I've seen a lot of people buying manley pistons. Are you going to build the motor yourself? I wish I had the know how to do this. I wouldn't mind watching you if you're not too far from me.

if i build it then itll prolly be me and sum buddies but itll b a lil while b4 i really get a chance 2 pull it an start the build but i was thinkin very hard on a 4v swap because i wont the t-56 6 spd an supercharge it witch the 4v is allready set up for but call me wired i wanna be diff an build a 2v cuz not alot of ppl really want 2 dump all that money in a 2v then blow it! i no 400-450whp isnt the highest numbers around but for a 2v and being a daily driver if ud like its doing pretty good! dont get me wrong ive seen sum killer 2vs but not as many as 4v! but im just in the brainstorming process rite now itll b a while b4 i do anything major, i mite just throw sum stg.2 cams, heads, gears, and few more bolt ons and call it a day for a while lol but thankx for the advice guys see yall MW 2k11!!!

You could have gears. The difference gears and tires makes is huge. If your dad has stock gears and you have 3.73's or 4.10's or you hook better than him or both, you're going to beat him. That's the only thing I can see that could easily put a 2v up there with a 3v. There are other things but those 2 are the easiest and quickest.

It will definitely be off. If you have the correct speed on your speedometer then you have a tune on there or a calibrator under your shifter panel.

Yea i was about 15 off when i didn't have my calibrator. You can also test this out by marking dot on your drive shaft, then turn the tire once around. Then count the number of times the dot went around from its original spot.

I don't really know if they can just hook up and do it. I think you either need a tuner or calibrator. I got my calibrator from AM. They'll be at MW this year and they are a great company.

Pro dyno reset my speedo when I put my 4.10 in. My daily driver has a 3.73 and isn't calibrated so the speedo says 69 at 60 mph. I'm used to it though so I don't want to spend more money on calibrating it
