September 2-8, 2019 What are the “official” Mustang Week events? Mustang Week has five (5) official events: The Palmetto Ford Meet-n-Greet on Tuesday; BFGoodrich Track Day on Wednesday; UPR Test-n-Tune on Thursday; the Mustang Week Car Show, sponsored by CJ Pony Parts on Friday; and the Cruise-In, sponsored by Saleen on Saturday.

Palmetto Ford Meet-n-Greet This is free to take part and free to spectate. BFGoodrich Track Day $25 for car/driver, and $5 to spectate UPR Test-n-Tune $20 per person, and $10 for tech card to race Car Show sponsored by CJ Pony Parts PREREGISTRATION ONLY - For those that wish to be part of the judging, the pre-registration fee is $45. The cost for a display-only spot will be $35. SPECTATORS at MBCC – There will be a $5 fee for parking Cruise-In sponsored by Saleen - FREE for those registered for Friday’s Car Show, $10 for those wanting to get their Ford-powered Mustang in on the action and park their Mustang in the show field or park in Spectator parking.

If you are taking part in the driving events, you will fill out the Myrtle Beach Speedway’s forms at the gate when you pay to enter the day of the event. Or, you can save some time by filling out the forms on Tuesday at the Meet-n-Greet (MB Speedway will have a table set up). UPR Test-n-Tune There is no pre-registration to participate. All forms/tech cards, etc will be filled out at the gate the day of the event. No. Our merchandise is only available in Myrtle Beach, during Mustang Week, at official events.

The only vehicles allowed on the Mustang Week show fields, or the Mustang Week track events are Ford-powered Mustangs and SVTs.
Palmetto Ford Meet-n-Greet Food and drink can be easily found in the Celebrity Circle area of Broadway at the Beach. The Meet-n-Greet takes place beside/adjacent to this area, which houses numerous options for food and drink. BFGoodrich Track Day Myrtle Beach Speedway will provide concessions during Wednesday’s track day. The primary concession stand is in the center of the infield. Later in the day, the Speedway may open concessions just outside the grandstand on the front stretch, near the start/finish line. UPR Test-n-Tune The Darlington Dragway will have concessions open at several locations near the grandstands of the dragstrip. No. Participant or spectator tents are not allowed.
That is up to personal preference. The Grand Strand offers a variety of choices when deciding where to stay while on your visit. There are thousands of motel and hotel choices, countless condo rentals, and several world class RV campgrounds. You can always find a great place to fit any budget or need in the Myrtle Beach area. Please check Hotel Listings for a list of hotels offering a discount while at Mustang Week.

No. Special permitting must be obtained months in advance to sell inside the city/county. Permitting agents from both city/county are watching for this sort of activity.
We have a strict NO SOLICITATION rule at official Mustang Week events. No handing out or dropping of flyers is permitted during any official Mustang Week Event. Please contact the Mustang Week Staff (mustangweekstaff@gmail.com) for more information about including your promotional material in Car Show goodie bags.

NO. Please adhere to all traffic laws while in the Myrtle Beach area. This type of behavior reflects poorly on Mustang Week and hurts the event’s relationship with the city/county.

Car Show FAQ

Displays for the Mustang Week Car Show are located inside and outside the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. We will be using the larger parking lots inside the MBCC property. We will also fill the entire inside space at the MBCC. All displays are free of charge.
Yes, there will be trailer parking available for the Car Show and Cruise-In. It will be across Oak Street from the MBCC. Parking for trailers will be $20/day with a max $100 (Sunday to Sunday).
Cars allowed inside are chosen at random, after the Car Show registration is closed. Those cars would have to be registered for the Car Show. For specific questions, please email mustangweekstaff@gmail.com.
Cars entered in the judged portion of Friday’s Car Show will be judged primarily on cleanliness. We will not judge inside trunks, unless you chose to have it open for display. We do not give bonus points for bolt-ons or modifications. We are looking at presentation first and foremost. Judges will be looking at the condition of the body and paint, at the wheels and wheel wells, under the hood (including wiring), and inside the car (including door jams).

Car Show Awards are given out at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019, inside the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

If you can’t be present during Car Show awards, we will ship your award to you at the address you gave during pre-registration. Please allow time for the MW Staff and Crew to return home and we will get them out as soon as possible.
The Mustang Week Staff does not allow viewing of judging sheets.
We will begin parking those cars pre-registered for Friday’s Car Show (both judged and display-only) at 7:30am. Please do not arrive any earlier.
Yes, please have either the printed Car Show confirmation ready, or the confirmation on your smart phone ready as you arrive to park.
Yes, parking is not self-served. Parking volunteers will be on hand to help get your parked.
If you want to park together, you must arrive together, in line. We will do our best to make sure you are parked together.
The only reason you should leave the Car Show field is in case of emergency. There will be a lot of spectators moving around and we would like to minimize risk.
When judging is complete, those judging your car will put a colored “dot” sticker on your Car Show dash placard. This will let other judges know your car has been judged as well.
No, please stay until 5:00pm, if possible. The Mustang Week Staff begins the determination of “best-of” once all judging sheets are in. If your car isn’t present, it can’t be seen to be considered for a best-of award.

Myrtle Beach Speedway and Darlington Dragway FAQ

Gas stations are located just outside the Myrtle Beach Speedway and just down the road from Darlington Dragway (you’ll pass them on the way in). For information on available race gas, please contact each facility.
Yes, the more spectators we have, the better the event!
At Myrtle Beach Speedway, you can participate in one, or all, of the following: Fun Runs, Autocross, and Burnout Contest. The event at Darlington Dragway is run “test-n-tune” style on the ¼-mile drag strip. It is your choice if you want to join in the fun.
A helmet is not mandatory at Myrtle Beach Speedway. But, if you feel safer wearing a helmet, by all means, do so.
A helmet will be required at Darlington Dragway if your car is faster than 11.00 seconds. All participants must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (no shorts or sandals/flip-flops).

Cruise In FAQ
